Dentures in Hove

At The Dental Practice UK, your bespoke dentures are designed, made and fitted by our team of registered Clinical Dental Technicians, all under one roof at our practice in Brighton, just a short trip from Hove.

Losing teeth changes how you eat and how you feel about your appearance. The right set of dentures gives both back.

Why Choose The Dental Practice UK for Dentures in Hove

Both of our Managing Directors, Graeme J Newton CDT RCS (Eng) (GDC No. 152939) and Andrew J Evans CDT RCS (Eng) (GDC No. 146040), are registered Clinical Dental Technicians, which means your dentures are designed, built and adjusted by the same people who meet you at your appointment.

Types of Dentures We Offer in Hove

We provide the full range of denture options for patients across Hove, Brighton and the surrounding Sussex area. Your treatment will depend on how many teeth you are replacing, the health of your remaining teeth and gums, and what you want from the final result.

The Denture Fitting Process

We have kept the journey to a new set of dentures as straightforward as possible. Most patients complete it across four short visits.

Step 1: Consultation and Assessment

A full oral health check, a discussion of your goals and a clear treatment plan. We will also let you know if an alternative such as dental implants or dental bridges would suit you better.

Step 2: Impressions and Try-In

We take impressions and produce a wax try-in so you can approve the fit, shade and shape before anything is finalised.

Step 3: Final Fitting

Your dentures are fitted, balanced and checked for comfort so you leave with a result that looks and feels secure.

Step 4: Follow-Up and Aftercare

We review the fit as your mouth settles and welcome you back for adjustments whenever needed, even years later.

Caring for Your New Dentures

Looking after your dentures properly keeps them comfortable for longer and protects the health of your gums.

Alternatives to Dentures

Dentures are not the only way to replace missing teeth. Depending on your circumstances, we may also recommend one of the following.

We will recommend the option that suits your mouth and your budget, not the most expensive one.

What Our Clients Say

Dentures QUESTIONS YOU MAY have

FAQ’s

Costs vary by type, from straightforward acrylic partial dentures through to fully implant-retained sets. We give every patient a clear written quote at the consultation, and starting prices are listed on our Price Guide.

With good daily care and regular check-ups, most dentures last between five and ten years. Your gums and jawbone change shape over time, so a reline or replacement is usually needed at some point to keep the fit comfortable.

Most patients adapt within two to four weeks. Eating soft foods at first, reading aloud at home and wearing your dentures throughout the day all speed up the process.

Private dentures use a wider range of materials, take more lab time to shape and shade, and can be made to look closer to natural teeth. Many of our patients tell us the biggest difference is the fit and how confident they feel smiling in photos.

Yes. Our on-site lab carries out same-day denture repair for cracks, breaks, lost teeth and loose fittings. You can drop them in at our Brighton practice or post them to us, and we will quote before any work is done.
