ALL ON 4
The All-On-4 system is a type of implant that provides patients with a permanently positioned set of teeth using 4 implants that hold the rest of the teeth in the arch together.
ALL-ON-4 IMPLANTS
As they are fixed in position, the patient can clean, eat, bite and carry on using their teeth as usual. Unlike dentures, the patient does not have to use adhesives or take them out at night, and eating is neither difficult nor unpleasant
Food particles are not trapped in the mouth, bone deterioration is reduced and the patient’s smile looks complete and natural.

HOW DOES THE ALL-ON-4 SYSTEM WORK?
This unique system comprises of four implants and one bridge-like arch. The implants are placed at an angle so that there is additional contact with the jawbone. It can also help prevent bone grafting. If a patient is a suitable candidate for this system, it can restore their smile whilst saving time, money and discomfort. It takes approximately 2 and a half hours to fit each arch and it has a fairly high success rate.
IS ALL-ON-4 SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?
This system is ideal for patients who have recently lost a lot of teeth or prefer a permanent alternative to removable dentures. There needs to be a gap of 4 missing teeth, but they don’t necessarily need to be next to each other. Our dental surgeon will conduct a full consultation process to determine if it is a suitable option and will report our findings back to you. The new teeth that are created are natural looking and perform just like real teeth. We fully explain every step of the treatment to the patient who is encouraged to ask us questions at any time.

HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
The ‘bridge’ made of artificial crowns is anchored into the gum using titanium implant components. This is following osseointegration and healing to make sure that the foundations are strong enough to accept the All-On-4 system.
They can be fitted on the upper, lower or both the upper and lower teeth. The patient is given a temporary set of teeth to cover the implant base until the permanent teeth can be fixed. This usually takes around six months during which time we perform transitionary restorations as needed.

ALL-ON-4 IMPLANTS QUESTIONS YOU MAY have
FAQ’s
All-on-4 dental implants are a cutting-edge solution for tooth replacement. This treatment involves the insertion of four dental implants into the jawbone to provide support for a complete set of prosthetic teeth, typically a denture. This method offers patients a stable and aesthetically pleasing smile, especially for those with multiple missing teeth.
All-on-4 implants offer a distinct advantage over traditional dentures. Unlike conventional dentures that sit on the gums and may require adhesives for stability, All-on-4 implants are firmly anchored to the jawbone. This provides enhanced stability, eliminates the need for adhesives, and improves chewing function and speech.
Determining eligibility for All-on-4 dental implants requires a comprehensive evaluation by a dental professional. Various factors, including jawbone condition, overall health, and oral hygiene, will be considered. This procedure is typically suitable for individuals with significant tooth loss.
Recovery times can vary from person to person, but most patients experience some degree of swelling and discomfort for a few days following the surgery. During the initial healing phase, which typically spans a few weeks, patients may need to adhere to a soft diet. Full healing and adaptation to the implants can take several months.
All-on-4 dental implants are engineered for durability. With proper care, they can endure for many years and, in some cases, a lifetime. Consistent dental check-ups, diligent oral hygiene practices, and avoiding habits like smoking can contribute to extending the longevity of your All-on-4 implants.
